DEAR CHURCH FAMILY & FRIENDS -
I wanted to give you folks an update - no we haven't disappeared - as I told you last email blast, we've just put formal services on the back-burner for a bit, and the circle or discussion group more towards the front, for now.
Frankly - while formal services are good and serve a purpose - they do not do much to help people work thru issues and problems, which is what a church congregation is suppose to do - help and support each other.
In addition - while we haven't totally worked thru all our options yet, in most instances people want alot more rent than our poor little collection plate supports........so we had to come up with a solution that both supports our church members and which also doesn't drink us dry of what funds we collect in a service.
DO NOT MISUNDERSTAND (I always fear rumors)
OUR CHURCH IS IN FINE FINANCIAL SHAPE............
AND WE'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE..........
I am just not going to pay four times what we bring in in a service, to use a room for two hours........or, phrased another way - I do not want to spend more than we make - like a government near you!
BUT THE CHURCH SUNDAY BREAKFAST IDEA IS GOING TO GO UP - frankly, we've had a few issues here that have tied up our weekends for a bit, but its coming..............
AND, IN THE MEANTIME - we DO meet EVERY WEEK, have our Journey/church discussion group - and do a prayer circle at the end of most evenings........
FINALLY - we haven't asked for dues so far this year because we have also had changes in how we have to do our minister cards.....I hope to have that sorted out in the next few weeks and we will get everyone who has paid their long-overdue cards (and hopefully have a new system that this will not happen again!) and then we'll notify those whose cards have expired.

Welcome to a series, as much a party as a class, designed to explore how we can better incorporate our metaphysical and spiritual beliefs into our lives. In essence - how we will walk our talk. Everyone wants a classes that will teach them how to do something (like psychic ability can be taught like a trade-school) but not one that teaches them how to BECOME something. The single most important tool you have, as a metaphysician, or for any goal, is your mind….this series teaches you how to fine-tune and use yours, and how to determine your place and purpose in your universe. It's a whirlwind of thought-provoking questions, stories, surveys, personality studies, psychological games, music, videos, meditation, comedy, crystals, astrology, current events and strange facts.
No two nights are ever the same. It's also a place to come, once a week, to unwind, and vent about whatever issues are going on in your life. We conclude each evening with a blessing - healing circle.
EVERYONE WELCOME ANYTIME
We generally start to gather to eat (if you wish to) around 6:30 -
the food is generally (but not always) done around 7:30-8
and we stay till 9:30, then the prayer/healing circle afterwards.
